The Alaska Dream Center is a place of hope for those struggling with life controlling issues in the state of Alaska. We are currently open for men between the ages of 18 and 59. All can find help at the Dream Center to become free from addictions and other life controlling problems. The Dream Center offers a free effective and comprehensive faith based discipleship/recovery program as an alternative to expensive mainstream drug and alcohol treatment centers. The residents must be willing to commit one year of their life to an intense discipleship program. The residents spend their day attending training classes, studying, and developing job skills.
The goal of the Dream Center is to produce graduates who become a successful, productive part of society. Our objective is to create a positive spiritual environment where students feel safe, secure and have all their basic needs met. With this environment students become emotionally stable, physically healthy, socially active, and most importantly spiritually alive. The staff is committed to going the extra mile to help students bring about a lifestyle change in their recovery process.
There are over 120 Dream Centers worldwide producing graduates who are true Disciples of Christ fulfilling the great commission. Jesus said, “I have been given complete authority on heaven and on earth. Therefore go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you and be sure of this: I am with you always even to the ends of the age”. Matthew. 28:18-20
We are now in the process of constructing a 12,000 square foot women’s facility, and as funds become available we will begin construction on a Vocational Training Center. In the natural, the challenges that we face seem almost overwhelming, but we know our God is not limited by what seems impossible to us. Our needs are great, so we are asking you to pray about how you can be involved.
